Rob is my name, and writing sci-fi is my game. Okay, that was a bit corny. Sorry.

I grew up in Western Massachusetts and had always wanted to become an architect. But that all changed in college when I took theater as an elective and wanted to become an actor instead. Unfortunately, that never happened either.

For the next ten years, I worked various retail and grunt jobs while playing drums in a cover band. (I basically did it to get girls, but wound up having a girlfriend the entire time. Oh well. I still had fun.) However, it wasn’t until I built my first PC that I decided to return to school for computers. So, I left the band to attend school part-time while I worked. Then, in 2016, I got an idea for my first major novel.

I've always loved various facets of pop culture, especially science fiction. Movies, TV shows, and books about aliens, time travel, alternate universes, and other galaxies have fascinated me since I was a kid. And because Ernest Cline is my favorite author, people will find that most of my stories are filled with pop culture references of all kinds.

Even though I’d been jotting down short stories since high school, I never did anything with them as they were mainly for fun. But learning how easy it was to self-publish, I decided to do just that. (Though, it wasn’t as easy as I thought.) I self-published my first two books (The Star Runner and ’89) and had the third (The Alternate) published by a smaller publishing company. I still have many other books on the way, so stay tuned.
